AI training under the EU AI Act.
Obligation met, team enabled.
Since 2 February 2025, Article 4 of the EU AI Regulation (VO (EU) 2024/1689) requires companies that use AI to ensure sufficient AI literacy among their staff. No specific course or certificate is prescribed. What is required are appropriate measures that you can document.
What the obligation means
- It applies to businesses that provide or operate AI systems, including those that only use AI tools in the office.
- The level depends on role, prior knowledge and purpose of use.
- What matters is that you can document your measures.
Our training
- Basics: What a language model can and cannot do. Why it makes mistakes. How to check.
- Your daily work: Exercises with your own examples: emails, quotes, research.
- Rules: What may go into which tool and what may not. Data protection, professional secrecy, copyright.
- Evidence: Attendance and content documented for your records.
- Roadmap: At the end, you know where AI saves you time.

Frequently asked questions
Does my company have to train employees in AI?
If you use AI, yes: Art. 4 requires appropriate measures for AI literacy. How you meet it is not rigidly prescribed.
Is there a mandatory certificate?
No. The regulation specifies neither a mandatory course nor a number of hours. What matters is the evidence.
Is a video enough?
A generic video rarely fits the role and use of your people. We train with your examples.
Does this also apply to ChatGPT in the office?
Yes. Using general AI tools in the business is also use of AI.
